What should you do when you come across someone who’s not interested in Network Marketing? Do you show them the light and try to convince them that this is the perfect business for them? Or do you make better use of your time?I’ve heard lots of recruiting strategies that enforce the “No just means not right now – get them to say NO 10 times before you leave them alone”. I say let the person discover on their own that they want to look into an opportunity. In my honest opinion, your time is better spent with people who are actually LOOKING for an opportunity.
And yes, they are out there.
Think about yourself as an example. Why are you in Network Marketing? Is it because someone forced you into the business, or is it because you opened your mind to the potential of the Network Marketing business model? There are people out there who share your exact same enthusiasm for exploring that same potential!
You might be wondering how to find these people that share your enthusiasm. I touched on this subject in a previous entry, but I’ll mention it again – you will attract them. If you wear your heart on your sleeve, you’ll attract people to you that will see your enthusiasm and will want to learn more about you.
No Usually Means No
I highly recommend reading Andrew McLellen’s Network Marketing Inspiration Blog. For over two years, I have been talking about subtle changes in MLM, less hype and more real people. Andrew’s down to earth wisdom is a great example of the new breed of real people building Network Marketing business’.
