I was doing my usual searching and reading and found this site that looks like it belongs to Jody Victor, of the IBOAI Board:
http://www.jodyvictor.blogspot.com
I found the site by searching blogger for Jody Victor.
It seems to be some type of communication between Victor and Jim Payne, Quixtar’s Managing Director regarding Quixtar’s web sites.
I am going to post it in two parts…
Part 1 appears to be Jody Victor’s letter to Jim Payne:
Hi Jim, Randy, Claire and Sharon
I have some real concerns about launching this new site as I see it.
The definition and position of Quixtar on the site is awful. We spent our
entire summer with the BSM Task Force and Accreditation carefully selecting
the proper wording for our survey and visiting with other leaders to get it
right. This new site takes a major step backwards in many areas. Have you seen it?
Have you read it? Has Dave B. read the words on the pages? Our mutual goal since 1999 was to get the positioning of the business right.
The terminology was always so very important so as to not create confusion
for all IBO’s powered by Quixtar, Inc.Many in the field when they read this site will feel this is an attempt to
"reel us in" and get everyone identified with the term Quixtar that unravels
all of our hard work. The nay-Sayers will point out this to be an "intentional re-positioning of
the business."How can we support a launch of this web site that will create more damage
from the negative web site folks? There are many good points on the web site and many are to be complimented
and appreciated for their efforts but let’s get the terminology correct when
applied to Quixtar, Inc and www.quixtar.com when relating it to IBO’s.www.thisbiznow.com
This biz now web site needs some tender loving care before it goes live.Jody
