Have you heard the QBlog Diamond Rally? download here.
Like most rallies, it’s not big on the details of how to build a downline of Anti-MLM Bloggers and Forum Posters, but it is an interesting listen.
I wonder when the book will come out.
Update: After taking the time to record a podcast solely about himself, apparently "QBlog" aka Eric Janssen does not want his QBlog Diamond Rally Podcast to be listened to. Sometime in the last 12 hours, he changed the recording and monkeyed with the link. I fixed the link, but this seems odd to me that someone who has "cornered the truth" on MLM would do such a thing.
2nd Update:The link has been changed again. What is Eric hiding? I wonder if this deception has to do with the 2nd coming of Qrush? Is Qrush really QBlog? Was QBlog behind the plot to get Martha Stewart to endorse Malt Liquour and sell it through the MLM Model? Anyways, I linked his site this time. If he wants to change the link again, he will have to make a change to his QBlog Radio Blog.
3rd Update: Since I am such a nice web citizen and wish to protect QBlog’s Bandwidth, I have uploaded the QBlog Diamond Rally to my server. Feel free to send it to all of your friends.
4th Update: Now QBlog seems to be threatening me with copyright laws for hosting his Diamond Rally. This is bringing back memories of Orrin Woodward and his lawyer friends. I have once again re-directed the link.
Looks like I'm getting under your skin just a little bit.
Good. Means I must be doing something right.
;o)
Does that mean there is a book coming out for your downline? ; )
Sure. I'll even sign a copy and send it to you when it's published. How should I make it out?
Uh… if I didn't want it to be listened to I would have removed the mp3 file from my server.
Just having a little fun yo!
And by the way, when you put something in quotes it often means you're quoting them and just to be clear, I never said I'd "cornered the truth" on anything.
Well, with the exception of the truth about monkeys.
The quote was from Real Quixtar Blog. If he had a real Quixtar Blog, I would have been able to link the post. = )
Uh, to be hiding something don't you have to be actually… um… hiding something? I mean, visiting my site has always gotten you the original podcast but you didn't link that up in your original post now did you?
Hmmmmmm?
But now you have.
Aha! Now you see the method to my madness.
Booyah. Monkeys dance-dance-dance.
Ego. Can it get any larger?
Oh, you have absolutely no idea.
Now, go put on your dancing shoes, they're about to play your song.
I give Eric the edge so far in this exchange…maybe 60-40.
Joe,
Please, no wagering.
You do realize that you're violating copyright laws by publishing the file in its entirety without my expressed permission.
Eric,
My heartfelt consideration was the saving of your bandwidth.
Would you like me to remove it or are you going to get in touch with Kuiper?
Did I ever complain about bandwidth? Did I ever ask you to host it? Nope. If my bandwidth needs saving, you'll be the first to know.
Boy, and "they" call me serious.
Quote from the QBlog:
"In fact, unobservant listeners might believe that the file was being served off of Tribble's site and eating his bandwidth instead of mine."
So Orrin, errr I mean Eric…I will remove it for you.
It just keeps getting gooder and gooder. Still eric, but maybe only 58-42 now.
Children
Yes, that's my quote. Good job.
Now, can you answer my questions?
Or wait, you read it and made an ASSUMPTION! Ah, how very clever. I love it when people assume. In fact, that's one of the things I talked about on my podcast that you seem to so adore.
Do I need to spell it out for you? Maybe so but I'll refrain for now and see if the astute readers can figure it out for themselves. Hints forthcoming.
By the way, can you explain – in detail – what a Diamond Rally is? There seems to be some confusion. Thanks!
Now who's dancing?
Anyone affilated with Amway/Quixtar knows what a diamond rally is. You have been writing about Amway/Quixtar for three years, it would be a fair assumption that you would (or should!) know what it is too.
A Diamond Rally is where a diamond, talks about themselves.
For someone that claims to have a good sense of humor, you sure are having trouble with this. Are we not allowed to question or poke a little fun at the almighty QBlog?
The QBlog Diamond Rally (podcast) is but one of the interesting paralells between QBlog and the Diamonds.
I'm not affiliated with Amway/Quixtar.
By the explanations I've heard, from those who spent years in Quixtar, a Diamond Rally is a high-powered pep rally where the participants are whipped up into a frenzy with motivational invective.
Your definition and Shawn Cannon's is the first I've heard of it being where they "talk about themselves."
I never claimed to be an authority on all things Quixtar but you seem to be. I guess now I learned what a Diamond Rally is so thanks for the education. And if talking about myself is a paralell to a Diamond Rally then consider me guilty as charged.
My wife held a Diamond Rally last night and on Monday my son held a Diamond Rally.
Oh, and last weekend I read Ben Franklin's autobiography which, as it turns out, is also a Diamond Rally.
I'm learning so much. What did you have for lunch? A tuna sandwich? Ah. Another Diamond Rally.
If you want to talk about rallies, compare your podcast to mine. I get maybe 100 downloads on a good podcast compared to your thousands of listeners. Now that's a rally!
By the way, where exactly is the threat?
Ah, you assumed there was a threat. Nice.
Eric,
Here is the difference in rally's…
The rally's you sited above were not recorded for the group. Much like a Diamond Rally in Quixtar, yours was.
I still don't get it.
Maybe you should draw me some circles or something.
…Listen guys, I know how you feel…In fact, I felt the same way…but let me tell you what I found…this is you…
Feel,Felt,Found.
QBlog’s Farcical Help Desk – 48
Every Friday, the QBlog Farcical Help Desk answers the Quixtar questions that nobody dared to ask. Additionally, each Help Desk answer is guaranteed to end with some form of punctuation or we’ll refund your money. No fooling! Question: My…
Sorry… but.. Eric wins here.
As for my two cents… a Diamond Rally? Really? See, I was SUPPOSED to do Quixtar… I went to a few meetings, tagged along while my "upline" "showed the plan" to a bunch of my 17 and 18 year old friends. I complied as he made me write out anybody and everybody I talked to, so he could call them about "building their business", and being "financially free". What a joke.
I have more respect for people that can actually build a REAL business, if they so desire. Actually find a need, and provide a solution. Not sell a bunch of high prices vitamins and makeup, when you can pick the same thing up at Wal-Mart.
All the meetings are a JOKE. You have a bunch of Indian people rambling on that you can't understand. The two that I went to, I thankfully fell asleep, until of of them started screaming out of the blue. That was quite rude. And these were Average Joe's just "building their business!" You know, buying from themselves! I shudder to think what a Diamond Rally would be like. Sorry, but paying (you do pay to go here right? I figured you had to pay for EVERYTHING in this business… even the pep rallies) to listen to a bunch of people talk about themselves is crap. I would rather check out (FOR FREE!) a biography…
Eh, maybe that was three cents. Or maybe even four cents.
Take care all. And keep spreading the gospel Eric. The rest of you.. need Jesus! 🙂
Ryan,
I'm sure Eric is happy to have you in his downline. Keep spreading the gospel!
The "Indian Rambling" statement is wonderful as well. Keep up the good work.
Thanks man, I do my best. I don't know about being in his "downline", I am my own person and can think for myself, but maybe you have different terminology…
Again, thanks for the encouragement, hope all is well with you!
