Here is some Quixtar IBO Feedback on the announced phase out of Quixtar and change back to Amway in North America (some names may be real, some are online nicknames):
The Big Apple:
This is the single best move you could have done! I am so excited.
This is great news. I’ve always loved the Amway name because this
business absolutely represents the “American Way.” Amway is a name to
be proud of, not to hide. It represents courage, entrepreneurship, and
creating wealth for all through a serious, legitimate business model.
Chillin77:
At first reaction, I must say that I am concerned and if you can bring
more clarity to the reason behind this ‘image infusion’ it would be
helpful.
Jeffery:
I am disappointed that we are bringing back the Amway name. It carries way more baggage than most people realize.
Jim Rinaldi:
I don’t know what to think yet. I was in the "old" Amway for a while,
and vowed never to do that again, because of all the negative
connotations. Now so much of the same negative is associated with
Quixtar, and I find myself in an LOA which heavily promotes "system" in
its Open meetings, and never mentions the Quixtar name, much less
Amway.
Jim Teller:
…IF QUIXTAR GOES BACK TO THE AMWAY NAME , I WILL LEAVE ASAP.
Bo (not the Bo you might be thinking of):
Please think twice before you do this. its going to be a disaster…90% of people got into the business because its not Amway. And they will quit because its Amway now.
I have put some feelers out to some high level IBOs, (an EDC and a Ruby) to see if I can get some of their opinions. So far, I haven’t heard back. If you are a Ruby or above and would like to share your thoughts, you can email them to mlmblog (at) mlmblog.net (replace the (at) with @ and no spaces). You have my word that I will post your comments anonymously and I will never reveal you as a source unless you want me to do so.
Everybody already new the relationship between Quixtar and Amway anyway.(That they were one in the same) All of our high level Ibo's made it in big the Amway business. New Ibo's understand that less than 1 month after registering in the business if they've associated themself at all with their upline.
I am glad they are going back to Amway. Part of why I left was because of the name change. I'd spent a lot of time working with the Amway name to be one of the people to represent it with honor and then they changed as though they were embarrased. I also found that many people liked the Amway products but didnt' want to be Amroids. When they changed to Quixtar it was a slap to anyone who was an honest distributer.
This move is way more risky than alticore execs would like to believe, but I think it's obvious that there's some legal ramifications or alter motives here that aren't being disclosed.
this is b.s i have lots of ibo that all agree going back to amway is a very bad choice..thier name is all bad….it will be like the food store lucky,s they changed to albertson.lost customers and noticed a drop in sales when compared to lucky..now its lucky,s once again
I have lots of cassete tapes from the 80's with the WWD

Very bad exp. with AMWAY..
All that which claims the company is transparent or provides good qulaity products at competitive rpices all have been proved false by the company itself. I’d raised an query about its protein powder after comparing the other protein powders available in the market. I did post my query on 10.12.09 on mail and then on 17.12.09 at its site as well with regular reminders. But the company even didn’t bother to revert on that. once or twice it replied that the query has been forwarded to the concerned dept but their conclusive had never replied. I suggest one should n’t trust company simply because upline verbally say so to do.. Comapny is charging very high prices for its products with no authenticity of quality in comparison to the prices. There seems to be some consiparcy in the whole process
