This is a quick and easy science experiment you can do at home to see if Quixtar is any different than Amway.
Supplies:
1. Glass of water
2. An unused Starbucks coffee cup
Experiment:
1. Take a drink of the water from the glass.
2. Pour the water from the glass into the Starbucks coffee cup.
3. Take a drink from the Starbucks coffee cup.
Did the water change into something other than water when it was poured into the Starbucks coffee cup?
It’s still water, isn’t it?
So, if you take the same products, same compensation plan, same people and same training and move the product ordering from the phone to the internet, what do you have?
Answer: The same business.
…and most importantly, the results are the same.
I had more success with Amway than i ever had with Quixtar!
My upline was Payne and Yager. In the late 80's I was selling Amway products pretty well and had some good customers. Then thru the 90's the products kept going up. We were more focused on products than the system too! The tools were there and were not pushed as much as in the 90's. If the money in Quixtar now is so great why do the Yager boys(Doyle,Steve,Jeff) not build Quixtar instead of the system? They know their wealth is in the tools. Dexter spent 40 million dollars building his tape and cd factory in South Carolina and would lose a lot of money if Quixtar took over tapes, books and functions.
Interesting, same people same training same business. Does it always stay the same?
Ty,
What system were you part of? Why did Quixtar not yield the results you wanted or expected? I have enjoyed our discussion what results are the same? There are those who succeed and those who don't.
Ray,
Same question what system were you part of and what do you think allowed you to have more success with the Amway Opport vs Quixtar.
Why Not,
Do you have any comment on Bill Britt's "issues" and the mass exodus from BWW by WWDB, Gala and Winters?
AononymousIBO,
Where did I say it "wasn't OK for Amway to change it's name"?
Amway can change it's name to Oasis for all I care, the point is, the business is the same regardless of the change of name.
I don't think that Oasis associates are "counting down" to name change so that they can begin to build their business and I don't think any Oasis associates will imply that Oasis is not the same company as Univera.
It's OK for Oasis to change names but not OK for Amway to change names?
Ray,
As you may know from my previous posts I am part of the BWW system, we have always been told the Quixtar money 150,000 + at the diamond level as well as another 150,000 from the system money. As far as the Yager boys, I am sure they realize the business Dex built will be passed on, as we have both know a huge 4% check. Would you agree the biggest complaint most have about Quixtar is the system money? I have a Dr. and his wife who refuses to use the system and they create a large personal circle through personal use and retail. I am find with this….However I know there are those that will not work with individuals unless they participate in the system. We choose to meet each individual at their level and work from there.
The biggest complaint in Quixtar is how hard it is to just make money and keep it coming in. The tools bonus is way bigger for Dex than that 4% Quixtar bonus!
Ty,
Are you referring to Larry Winters and his system? If so great, I am aware of both sides and will let the cards fall where they may. Gala was at go Diamond in Atlanta and was 100% behind Bill and his return. I personally have a leg which is working directly under the Gala banner based on location. As far as WWDB nothing has changed for us. Issues I can't deny the issues you may be refering to however I am building this business for my family and not for Bill. I am thankful for all of the Leaders who stepped out and made a difference. I am personally fond of Larry and his teachings. Ty, I have enjoyed this discussion and am excited you have succeeded in your business ventures. Free enterprise is alive and well and yes there is bad apples in every bunch and profession. One must choose the vehicle they can believe in and work within.
Why Not,
If you are building the business for your family, why wouldn't you look at all of the data and make the best choices for your family?
Typically, people's attachment to BWW, WWDB and Quixtar is emotional. If they stepped back and looked at the situation from a business standpoint, there are clearly better options in Network Marketing.
I wish you well.
You mean their Shitsmellaway supplement doesn't actually work?
I was accosted by a, let's call her a "Moonie", during jury duty last week. Not only was she whacked in the head but was hopped up on energy drinks and high calorie snack bars. In her defense she was a listed skin care therapy thingy able to recommend all sorts of excellent products.
Except for her being 40 lbs overweight and her acne covered face, I was pretty interested in her new "healthy lifestyle".
G
Premier membership is now a core step. $38 a month. To be an eagle you need to have premier membership, so now wwdb allows you to buy your way into their titles (eagle double eagle etc)… and that lines their pockets with cash
No one is forced to by TOOLS… business is business.
>>No one is forced to by TOOLS… business is business.<<
B.S.
People are told that tools are optional, but so is success. The truth of the matter is, success with WWDB and other systems in Quixtar is not only optional, it is next to impossible.
It is true that business is business, but when the leaders of the business are failing their downline and profiting in the failure, that is called a scam.
i am part of the LTD system (Larry Winters) and i thought i would throw this out there. Larry wanted to change alot of things with the tool systems one being the tool breaks or money diamonds make off tools bought. he found it unfair for those who no longer building thier bizz to make money off the tools. and another thing is bww system is ancient with calling your upline to order tools and getting the tools 2 weeks later only after everyone in your line of sponsorship handles them. we are (LTD) transitioning into online ordering and tools are then shiped directly to the IBO.
Interesting.
So what you are saying is that you always have to be active in order to make money in Quixtar?
What happened to residual income?
You can find people who are unsuccesful in every single business in the world. That aside your 'experiment' is totally flawed, eliminating the middleman by moving to the internet is a big change in business. Also, moving from cleaning products in amway, to over 2 million products in quixtar from everything from furniture to chocolate is quite a change in products.
Nice try at an 'experiment' but please stop cluttering the internet with your garbage. Do it right or dont do it.
Whatever –
Alticor/Amway/Quixtar actually only has about 450 products that are exclusively owned and manufactured by the corporation. The "two million" products that we were all "taught" to say are distributed products and available just about everywhere at substantially lower prices than Quixtar.
Anyone can partake in an affiliate relationship and, contrary to what the guys in the publicity department will say, it doesn't require a team of lawyers to "evaluate" the partner store relationship.
Perhaps you may wish to cut and paste your talking points memo from the Q site next time?
I need some successful Tips.
