I got an email from Rangy Gage today and something really struck me about it. I'm sure Randy Gage has quite a following, but does anyone believe that he has "thousands" asking him about personal coaching?
Dear Ty Tribble,
Please make a note in your planner to check this email account
early Tuesday morning. I'll be making a MAJOR announcement about
an exclusive coaching program you may be very interested in.But obviously space will be limited and the spots will go fast. If
you snooze, you lose.So if you're one of the thousands of people that has been asking
for a personalized coaching program with me, this will be your
chance. But you'll need to check your inbox early to have a shot
for it. Just wanted to give you a heads up. The revolution
continues…-RG
Good man… I've been waiting for someone to speak up on this.
My apologies for the blatantly self-serving links (which I've included in full as the code appears to be stripped prior to publishing) which follow…
I've previously asked: 'We want this to be a cool place, to which cool people come'… who else is open to, supportive of, and contributing to meaningful reform? (http://upline365.com/report/2009/January/06/356/)
Later, I added: Gage is savvy – and knows how to stir things up in a good self-promoting way without pissing-off too many people. And that's what he's done. He's provided some things for people to think about, and has grown his influence (and mail list) in the process. (http://upline365.com/report/2009/January/20/366/)
I then side-stepped the whole 'revolution' issue: Overall, rather than a real outward-looking initiative-for-change, it seems to be far more of a 'singing to the choir' thing which'll make exiting MLMers feel good. (http://upline365.com/report/2009/January/22/368/)
As a 'join you own dots thing', consider this (http://thenetworkmarketingevolution.com). Bottom line, we need 'evolution' not revolution.
I'm also not sure that Sieg's stuff is the answer… but that's a subject for another day.
Anyway, having added waaaaay too many of my own links, I'll return you to Ty.
🙂
Isn't this just how internet marketing and mlm works? People are always claiming things that aren't actually true so they can gain sales, opt-ins or whatever they are after. Also it is clear throughout the industry that people copy other people, this is simply the way it goes. If someone else is achieving success then why not copy.
But fair play, bad mouthing someone else is wrong so good on you for raising this. You have got the message in to my head so at least this post is having some kind of desired effect.
Great information Ty,
Thank you for the updates about Randy & Ann. I have to admit, that Randy might be on to something with his coaching. He sounds like he has good insight.
However, Ann Sieg is really got it going on to. She knows a great deal about network marketing as well. She really is on top of attraction marketing too. I have starting reading the Attraction Marketing Manifesto.
It is outstanding! I might even like it better then her first book. Time will tell.

I'm a strong supporter of mlm and Randy Gage. Realistically though, he isn't doing anything "special" meaning we're all capable of doing what he does. The only problem is who IS actually doing what he does? He's taken mlm to new heights and I'm appreciative of that. The same goes for this blog here. We're all capable of it but who actually takes the time to do it. For that reason I'm thankful for the resource as well. Keep it up!
