Univera:

Univera announces the promotion of Rich Razgaitis from Executive Vice
President of North America to President, North America, effective
immediately. In this role he will continue to report to CEO Stuart
Ochiltree. This promotion is a result of the significant growth of
Univera business in North America as well as the acknowledgment of
Rich’s noteworthy achievements in catalyzing that growth since he
joined the company in January 2006. The promotion is also a reflection
of an expanded role for the Sales and Marketing Departments with regard
to global sales and marketing strategies.

Rich’s promotion was deemed a judicious move by ECONET® and Univera
CEO Stuart Ochiltree who states: “Rich has been instrumental in taking
Univera’s sales and marketing endeavors to a whole new level. The
synergism of Customer Care with Marketing and Sales makes it imperative
that one individual oversee the North American operation—and I have
every confidence that Rich Razgaitis is capable of the job.
Additionally during his tenure as EVP of North America,  Rich was
responsible for the extraordinary achievement of leading a significant
and successful re-branding of the company from the ground up; this,
coupled with devising business initiatives, including additional—and
vastly improved—sales materials, has given our Company the platform
necessary for global growth and sustainability.”

Razgaitis holds a BA in Marketing and an MBA in General management
from Anderson University, Indiana. He comes from a diverse business
background in which he’s been involved in complete corporate
turnarounds. He has led campaigns to position, brand and bring to
market product lines for companies ranging from venture capital backed
start-ups to such Fortune 500 icons as Johnson and Johnson and Eli
Lilly, generating significant revenue growth for each.

With Razgaitis assuming the role of President, Chief Scientific Officer
Stephen Cherniske will have more time to continue his valuable research
and product formulation work—constantly keeping Univera in the
forefront of ethnobotanical discovery, and its application to bringing the best of nature to humankind. This
change will also allow Stephen to continue to represent Univera as a
sought-after spokesperson—a role he assumed when he joined the company
in 1999.
