MLM Blog contributor, Vance wrote an article a few months ago about ROI Unlimited and today I found evidence that the company is bouncing checks to it’s distributors.
Here is the recent comment:
I was all excited about ROI until a bonus check bounced. I’ve called them 4 times about this and left a message over the last two weeks and have never heard back. If this were a reputable company, it seems to me they would have gotten right back to me to explain themselves. At this point, I’m going to have a very hard time telling people about the benefits of this company with the knowledge that they have bounced a check on me. How do I get my money back – all of it? I feel like this company is inept and fraudulent, not just a scam. Does anyone know any attorneys that go after companies like this?
The is the same company that is headquartered out of a P.O. Box in an Arizona UPS Store and people wonder why Vance suggested a red flag.
I had the same problem.
What happened to me was that ROI changed from BOA to Chase Bank. I held my check too long – till it was no good. I notified them and I got a check in about 3 weeks. It was written out in hand by Fred himself (THE boss). They were very concerned that I hadn’t been paid my $25 commission.
By the way, they launched in January of THIS year and have paid out $8,000,000 in commissions and bonuses to date. So far – 19,000 members.
I doubt that Mr. Whinnie Person will have to wait much longer for his check. If his check was that much of a problem in his life, I hope that he doesn’t opt out of the program. It sounds like he needs the money and he should give himself a chance to be successful in the business. Lots of people are.
That Fred Shultz (sp?) guy (the boss of ROI) seems to really want ROI to be the best MLM company going. They took my “bounced” check payment very seriously.

Unfortunatly in the current economic climate bounced cheques is nothing new.
They change there rules and show you qualified until you make it than the send you only $5000.00 of your$20,000.00 than they close all your boards.
that was a not the one I have been in the last year it is from the DARK PAST LOL
Ty, it seems that you like to bash companies as soon as they do what happens regularly in our lives…bounced checks. Look around your site, it is obvious to me that you right for traffic. It doesn’t matter who you bash as long as you get people here to your site. I did ROI and it paid, but then like any other business, it lost popularity and momentum. This happens everyday in businesses and Wallstreet, you know? ROI paid and they are NOT a scam company who disappears with money. Why don’t you write about manufacturing companies that owe suppliers money? why? because noone is interested in that. Wouldn’t that be a scam in the eyes of the suppliers? They are not getting paid, of course it is not a scam. People don’t look at it that way, neither do you.
Luis, I don’t write about manufacturing companies because this site is called “MLM Blog”. I write about MLM companies. Comments like yours are interesting because you choose to ignore the thousands of posts that are positive about companies and focus in on your own company (that obviously had issues).
I did the Amway gig 15 years ago. Made it to Direct Distributor level. When they shifted everything to Online with Quixtar, it fell apart. Most of the big pins have either left or been thrown out. But Amway is big, and they have a whole new generation of suckers now.
