Company and supporter spin on the shut down of ASD was that Tuesday it would be business as normal, sadly for thousands of people, it was anything but business as usual.

If ASD (even) survives this run in with the Attorney General, Secret Service and Federal Agents, the reputation will take a huge hit.  My guess (based on seeing this type of thing with Bioperformance Gas Pills a couple of years ago) is that they are done as a company….sad to say for the good people that got caught up in this.

If you are looking for a legitimate home based business, I wrote a book called, The 5 keys to Choosing The Right Network Marketing Company (free book download) that might help you figure out what to look for based on my 16 years of experience and my business partner’s 20 years of experience.

Secret Service agents raid an Internet advertising business in Quincy.

Federal agents spent hours going through the computers and files at Ad Surf Daily (ASD) on Calhoun Street on Tuesday.

The US Attorney’s Office in Washington DC filed a civil complaint in U.S. District Court alleging Thomas Bowdoin the owner of ASD, was operating a massive wire fraud scheme based in Quincy. And on Tuesday, agents went into the business to gather information. Employees sat outside of ASD as Secret Service agents and deputies from the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant.

The building used to be a flower shop, but since it switched to ASD, some residents say they wondered what was going on inside. "They just said that it’s not a flower place anymore and they just left it at that… and I was like okay but they didn’t say nothing that was going on in there, they didn’t say nothing, just kept it concealed and left it like that," says Kimberly Forbes a Quincy resident.

"They just stood and stared at us and tried to give us another question and stuff," adds Ruby Nealy, a Quincy resident.

Just last month, the Gadsden County Chamber of Commerce issued a press release….it says the owners (Thomas) Andy and Faye Bowdoin made $40 million in sales in the last 6 months and had more than 75 thousand members worldwide.

The article goes on to suggest that officials from the U.S. Attorney General office are calling ASD a "Ponzi Scheme":

Officials from the US Attorney’s Office say they believe this business was a "Ponzi scheme that he masked as an advertising company." They say Ponzi scheme are ones that "rob-Peter-to-pay-Paul."
