This is from Doug Firebaugh’s Christian MLM Training site. Let me first say that I am not a biblical scholar. Having said that, something strikes me as wrong with this prayer. Should I really be praying for God to send in the Holy Calvary to help me sell my next bottle of energy drink? Shouldn’t we be thankful for the blessings that we have and pray for those that truly need our prayers?
Holy Father,
Send in the Holy Cavalry Lord to help me in my weak moments which seem to be overwhelming me lately in my Network Marketing business! Take the struggles Lord! Take the pressure Lord! Take the insults Lord! Take the adversity Lord! Take the failures Lord and wrap them up in Your Holy Power and then take me to a new level in Christ and Your Holy Power! Power me up Lord, and lift me up to a new level of strength in You! Help me to get through each challenge one task at a time, and I pray for patience and persistence to continue through my weakness and problems! Thank You Lord for coming to my rescue every time and sweeping your strength into my heart and MLM business so Your Power may be perfected in my weakness! Success is a matter of holding on! I am holding onto You Lord! Praise the Perfecter! Praise the Holy Perfection! Glory to the Lion of Judah! Glory to the Father! Hosanna to the Highest of the High and Wonderful Counselor! We Praise You Jesus!

Having humans been killing each other in the name of their god since the beginning of humanity?
I guess humans can pray for a good business.
Yes, pray for lots of business, keeping in mind God's sovereignty may not allow huge profits because He want's to be our greates Treasure since He alone is the source of greatest pleasure. God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him. We were made to see and savor Christ with everlasting and ever-increasing joy forever. A successful business can't even come close to doing that, but is only a faint echo of that.
Thankful, yes, AND looking forward to massive blessings forever. God Himself is the source of all true riches. We will be finite creatures, even in Heaven. But God is infinite and it will take forever for Him to unfold His greatness to us. There will be no end to our joy and intimacy with Him as we discover and enjoy Him more and more, age after endless age. Morning after morning, His mercies will be new.
I like to pray for Christians like this: God please mobilize all of your power on —–'s behalf to maximize their pleasure and delight in you. Amen
I like to pray for non-Christian's like this: God, please shine in ——"s heart to give them the light of the knowlege of your glory in the face of Christ through the clearest, most compelling gospel presentation they've ever experienced. Amen.
Ty — seems the comments section is a little flaky as well, not sure. Oops, never, mind – just a bit slow – lol.
Doug is simply following in the footsteps of Zig – knowing there are huge bucks in helping believers attempt to attain fortunes — all in the name of Christ. Nothing wrong with that – although the financial teachings of Christ are 100% focused on the dangers of greed and the fact that God will provide all you need.
Kent….the voice of reason. Thanks for the comment.
I think everyone missed the messsage of the prayer. and as far as making big bucks- (smile) any and all monies made with this site goes to ministries that need it, not me.
God is in the details, and this site is to bring Glory to God. He cares for your business as well as your soul. Yes, He cares about the small details like DNA…as well as your business that my bring Him Glory.
I pray that folks will see that this is a way to help bring more integrity and ethics in MLM,as well as exposing folks to The Original Networker Himself.
God will provide all we need…true…as long as we do our part. "Stretch forth thy hand!" is what Jesus told the man with the withered hand. "Lazarus come forth!" is what He shouted…He did not go in and get Lazarus…We are teaching folks to do their part through the Power of God as He does His Part through His Promise.
God is so good.
God bless you…doug
