So when you read the many disparaging, critical comments on the Quixtar
and Alticor blogs, it’s important to keep them in perspective: For
every negative opinion, I know there are a hundred IBOs (dare I call
them The Silent Majority?) who have positive experiences to share,
continue to find promise in this business opportunity, doggedly pursue
their goals, and "go placidly amidst the noise and haste."
This type of suggestion has been a major theme with the Author of Amway/Quixtar Facts known as IBOFIGHTBACK or Insider.
Insider and the author of True IBO Stories are trying to suggest that for every negative comment about Quixtar that you read on the Internet, there are a hundred happy IBOs that never post anything. That is probably true.
However, here is the reality. For every hundred happy Quixtar IBOs, there are probably 1,000 unhappy former Amway/Quixtar IBOs that quit the company for one reason or another, yet never contribute to the conversation either.
I'm not saying Amway/Quixtar is a perfect model. I have many issues with them. But I will say this: I sold Amaway products in college back in the early 1980's. I made a couple of bucks and it was a more impactful experience than going to college. Since then, I've spoken on two philanthropic programs with Rich DeVos, and he's one of the finest individuals I've ever met. Bottom line: I didn't get wealthy in Amway; but I got wealthy from what Amway taught me. I challenge the people who complain about Amway to look in the mirror and ask themselves a critical thinking question: Is Amway/Quixtar the problem, or is it me? If it's Amway/Quixtar, then quit and do something else. If it's you, stop complaining and go to work. Becoming wealthy is simple.
