(RTTNews) – USANA Health Sciences Inc. (USNA: News ) reported that its third quarter net earnings were $7.9 million or $0.51 per share, compared with $8.1 million or $0.50 per share in same quarter last year.
The company’s quarterly net sales improved to $110.8 million, from $107.2 million in the year-ago quarter.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.50 per share on revenues of $110.06 million. Analysts’ estimates typically exclude special items.
