Randy Schroeder reportedly accepted a significant ($8 to 10 Million?) signing bonus to join MonaVie. I have seen a handful of MonaVie associates claim that it was MonaVie’s product or compensation plan that attracted Schroeder to the company.
MonaVie is on a growth (and spending) spurt and it doesn’t have much to do with the product or compensation plan.
Here is what Randy Schroeder said about MonaVie before joining:
We can look at some of the mid-level successes in our industry right now. Xango is a fine company but what is it. It’s about a third or a fourth generation copy of Tahitian Noni or Marinda. Will Xango ever equal in size or exceed the size of Marinda? I personally will be dumbfounded if that occurred. It never happens in our industry. And we can go even with a more current example, Monavie. Well Monavie’s about a fifth generation copy of that same idea. The possibility of them going to a new standard of success, in my mind, approaches zero. What we find is, that being a truth in both compensation plan design and product design, Melaluca pioneered their compensation plan design. How many people have since copied? Countless. How many have equaled or exceeded the original? Zero. NuSkin pioneered their compensation plan design. How many have equaled or exceeded? Absolutely none.
This whole industry has become a joke with terminated reps to people hopping from one mlm to another looking for the best one. They say this one is the best one day and then a few months down the road they say this one is the best. If Mona Vie is giving out signing bonus's then send one my way. I will then buy a bottle of your voodoo juice and pour it down the sink and head back to Amway………Hello Ty
Captain Amway,
Just so you know, you are heading back to a company that pays out 50% less (30% at Amway vs. 45% elsewhere) than the fastest growing companies in the industry!
You create volume in almost any company in the industry and you will be paid better at that company than you are at Amway….that is a fact.
There are other factors to consider, but Amway is not even in the top 20 when it comes to companies to join when you consider the 5 Keys to Choosing the Right Network Marketing Company:

Hi Ty,
Interesting comment you make about Amway. I'm from South Africa and the Amway people tell me they are still the no.1 in the world.
Just shows that not everyone tells the truth when it comes to promoting their company.
Keep On Keeping On!

You guys are so jealous and full of hate I bet you're voting for Obama too. 🙂
I really don't like Monavie's comp. plan, he prob. joined due to the sign on bonus, plain and simple.
People will come and go as they wish thats a free world we live in. People will always say things about different companies. End of the day they are just mere figments of our imaginations when we make comments on the fly.
Really look at many people in networking they will say this and that about a company then years later for whatever reason they havea good and proper look and realise hey what i said was a little weird. its the ones that come back to the fold and make the apology that are the ones with the guts to admit they said it and it was a little stupid.
Good for randy to making the move. theres probably always more underlying issues then well ever know.
Hi,
Me personally,I am not really into the potions and lotions thing so if it work for him and his entire group GOD BLESS THEM.
The fastest mlm up and comming business is Sisel International, they have the very latest state of the art research on the most powerful ingredients with the hight orec value, making it a product that really does support a healthy immune system. (Editors Note: The founder of Sisel launched the new company from Prison and "OREC" is really "ORAC")
It is interesting to hear or read about these so called big shots in the industry… but the bottom line rests with us as individual distributors. Nobody above you will ever build the business below you regardless of the millions of dollars they claim they earn. That's not your money anyway, if it is true.
Just look for a young company older than 5 years, with an established management team that didn't come from being distributors themselves but individuals who cut their teeth as executives of successful MLM companies. Also offers a very fair income plan for the little and big distributor and most important a unique and patented (Not a copycat) consumable nutritional supplement that really works and testimonials are in the thousands and verifiable. Then focus on your goals and go to work….. you will be surprised and happy when you find that people in and out of the industry are talking and writing about your being a big hitter, a leader in the industry but then the money will be in your pockets. What's more important to you?
Iwould like to know more about Monavie and how to open de market in Chile.

If they can afford him, why not. He has a loyal following.
you know it's funny…I joined the network marketing industry 2 months ago…found a few very good friends had joined before me and are doing very well relatively speaking…relative that is to your normal 9-5…$1,500/week in 7.5 months…if that's not proof enough of how hard work, timing, and a good product can contribute to success, idk what is. Who cares about signing bonuses anyway…?It's network MARKETING. MARKETING!! MOST network marketers are making supplemental income…roughly 95%. So….You can sell anything via different routes…NETWORK MARKETING IS ONE OF THEM….GET OVER IT.
I wonder how this move has paid off so far. Have you guys heard whether or not this is working for Monavie?
I joined MonaVie a few months back but have not been particularly active yet. The juice tastes great but the product has some flaws – glass bottle, use of concentrates and preservatives and price! Randy Schroeder is doing a great job and is an inspiration to those that listen to him – I’ve enjoyed meeting him and listening to his webinars.
Marcos – head over to Twitter and contact juicyleon to learn about opening the business in Chile.
For the record, I think Eric Worre is a tremendous MLM teacher and I enjoy his http://www.networkmarketingpro.com video blogs.
