Multi-level marketing expert and Send Out Cards Co-founder Erik Laver purchased start-up health supplement company Ximo Health, LLC., Monday.

Ximo is currently the only company on the market today that offers a FDA compliant formulation of ephedra – the hit weight loss and energy product of the 1990s.

Prior to acquiring Ximo, Laver co-founded and served as President of the MLM greeting card company SendOutCards. During 2003, SendOutCards produced just over $100,000 in revenue, and by 2009 produced over $41 million dollars annually, consisted of 50,000 distributors, and had 100,000 active customers. In 2009 Erik Laver was a finalist in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year. His company was also featured in Inc. Magazine as #158 in both the top 500 Fastest Growing Companies and the Best of the Websites.

Erik Laver is no stranger to the key ingredient of Ximo. He started his network marketing career in 1992 with a nutritional company called E’OLA International whose flagship product contained ephedra. Laver became their highest income earner, forming a downline organization that consisted of more than a half a million distributors and $50 million in sales annually. During this time, he also authored a hardcover book, The Missing Piece to the Weight Loss Puzzle, which highlights the benefits of ephedra supplements to increased energy and weight loss.
