YTB Travel Reps are no doubt concerned and rightly so since September of 2009 is a long time to wait while the future of the YTB home business is up in the air due to the actions of the California Attorney General.
The California AG filed suit against YTB Travel back in August of 2008 for operating a "pyramid scheme that relies on the sale of essentially worthless websites they refer to as online travel agencies".
It looks like the main issue the AG has with YTB is that the vast majority of the companies revenues (73%) come from sign up fees and web sites while only 14.5% comes from actual sales of travel.
A reliable source tells me that YTB is looking to launch another line of products possibly unrelated to travel.
Great article!
Good information. It sounds like they got themselves into alot of trouble. When integrity is not practiced in business, it gets them into hot water. Not a good program. Thank you for the valuable information.
