Several years ago, my wife and I went to my in-laws home for dinner. My mother-in-law (who I absolutely love) served lasagne. I took a bite and it had a funny taste to it. I asked if the lasagne had wine in it and my mother-in-law didn’t really answer.

About 10 minutes later my wife’s brother and his wife show up for dinner. The brother takes a bite and promptly asks if there was wine in the lasagna. At that point my mother-in-law admitted that they opened a bottle of wine the night before and didn’t like it, so she decided to use it up by adding it to the lasagna.

Revelation:  If something tastes really bad (like bad wine), it is not a good idea to add it to something that you want to taste good (like lasagna).

What does this have to do with the Tahitian Noni Cafe?

Well, noni tastes like melted car tires mixed with prune juice.

Oh! I have a great idea…let’s cook with it!

Poor reviews of the Tahitian Noni Cafe are coming in from different sources. Here is the latest from the Law Reviewers.

I like the concept. A branded cafe and meeting place where associates can meet and hang out, customers can try products and the brand can be promoted. It’s cool, but it doesn’t seem to work with noni.
