Today I want to talk to you about the lowest hanging fruit in your network marketing business, that is email marketing. If you are not using email to market your products to your customers and to your team, you’re missing out on a huge opportunity to generate a massive amount of volume.
Whether you have 10 customers currently or 100 or have a team of 1,000, it doesn’t matter. If you want to continue to grow that volume, you will begin to use email, my friend.

It’s sad, there’s not a single network marketing company that I know of that does this the right way.
I worked with a small company out of New Zealand that has an all natural cleaning product, not a network marketing company, just a company, an e-commerce company, and I wrote some emails for them and I thought to myself, “There’s no single network marketing company, even though many do billions or hundreds of millions of dollars,” and not a single one does this the right way.
Like this tiny New Zealand cleaning product, all natural cleaning product company does internet marketing better than 99% of network marketing companies.
So here’s the solution.
First, you can’t rely on your company to do the job to make an impact when it comes to your marketing and your sales and your continued growth and your long-term business. You have to do it yourself.
Second, don’t assume that a person who comes into your business and says they’re going to build, don’t assume they are builders, until they do activities that give you hints that they are building. Okay? In other words, they’re sponsoring people, they’re bringing on customers, things of that nature. Because so many times you’re going to ignore the fact that that could be a great customer over the long haul, even though they’re not doing anything other than buying the product.
If you can have hundreds and thousands of people just buying the product, it’s a really, really good thing for your network marketing business. A very good thing.
Next I want to give you four things that you can implement right now for your network marketing business. And this is as simple as going into your back office or whatever in your network marketing company site and downloading your customers and uploading them into an email autoresponder. I personally use Aweber. There’s lots of them out there. You can just Google email autoresponder. You’ll find one. Some of them are probably free if you’re just getting started.
This is not even Network Marketing email list building. This is more simple and easier to implement.
Here’s the four types of emails I want you to send right away, or the over progression, but that you can load up and begin to expose folks to.
- Number one is you send a congratulatory email when they bought a product. So when they signed up, say, “Hey, congratulations, you made a great decision. This is an amazing product. You’re going to love it. Can’t wait to talk to you again soon.”
Okay? So you’re building a relationship even though you’re not, you don’t have to meet face-to-face, you don’t have to have a cocktail, you don’t have to have them all for dinner. You’re building that relationship via email. It’s very powerful.
- You want to send testimonials of people who are having great results with the product, great results, testimonials. So they may not believe you that it’s a great product because you’re their cousin or you’re their uncle or you’re their whatever, but they will believe other people. So utilize those other people for testimonials.
- Send them information on similar products that align with that product. If it’s like a nutritional company and they have a product, a vitamin product, like a daily vitamin, but maybe they also have an Omega product or something like that, that’s good for the heart or something for heart health. And if you know it’s a male over 50, then goodness gracious, they should be taking better care of their heart and supplementing to do so, right? So complimentary products. So, “Hey, you love this product. Here’s another product we think you’re going to love too.”
- Announce the sales, when your company has a special or a sale don’t rely on your company to let your folks know. You tell the people on your list and tell them multiple times and tell them when it’s going to end.
And the reality of email marketing that the vast majority of people miss is that they don’t email enough. They think once a month is enough. And if you send an email once a month, it will get buried and people will forget even who you are.
I would recommend that if you’re just starting out, send three emails a week.
Those are just four examples of types of emails you could send. The world is your oyster. Think about all kinds of things. Go through your email and find emails that you connected with, that had a positive impact on you, and do something similar for your business.
Do those four things and you will see extraordinary results. I look forward to hearing about them in the near future. Have a great one, everyone.
