There are 338 million Chinese people with internet access today. That's more than the total population of the United States. Don't worry yet – 100 million had  passwords or account numbers stolen this past year – so they haven't perfected it.

It's not an Internet paradise by any means. Censorship is state-mandated – even Google gave in to the Chinese government's demands. Don't type Dalai Lama into Google next time you're in Shanghai – nothing will show up. Except maybe some goons to haul you in for questioning.

Controversy recently surrounded China's proposed "Green Dam" -  an Internet filter that would be pre-installed on all PCs sold in the country. China argued it was to filter "pornography". Others claimed it was another attempt by the government to control the Internet. It's clear they've got a few kinks to work out.

According to PC World the Chinese are "Chatting on message boards, cruising around social networking sites … the center said in a report posted on its Web site. The
number of Internet users who watched videos online rose 10 percent from
six months ago. More than one-fourth now shop online."

The fact is, the single largest online market in the world is the Chinese.

If I was CEO of an MLM Company – #1 on my To-Do list would read – China!
