I have seen a number of blog comments in recent weeks saying that Xango is the next Google and I have a very difficult time with this type of hype.
This type of "hypalogue" (I think I just made up a new word – sweet!) usually starts with one of the guru leaders and filters down through the ranks until someone decides that they should post it on a blog.
For the sake of argument lets quickly look at the Xango product and see how it compares with Google…
Xango has one product that arguably is not even close to the best quality of price in it’s category. Costco actually carries a Mangosteen product that has a better ORAC score and is a lot less expensive.
Google has many products and several of them are the best in their category.
Xango is never going to be the next Google, in fact, I am willing to bet that Xango sales will start to slip in the near future. One product can carve you out a nice niche, but you need more if you want to continue growth in the long term.
I agree with you, Xango will never be the next Google. Not that there is anything wrong with Xango. But Google is in a league of their own, and it´s wrong to even think of comparing themselves with Google (but I guess they are not the ones doing it).
I am promoting Amigo juice, and it has even Acai and Goji berries including Mangosteen. I believe that they will be huge, A lot bigger than Xango, but never Google.
