I am working with my mlm company to comply with some of their newer rules about publishing the name of the company. I replaced the name of the company with (the bio tech mlm company that I work with) throughout this blog.

As you might know, the company is a bit skittish about allowing people to publish information because they got slapped pretty good due to an independent associates Internet claims.

I was talking about this issue with my wife today and I explained that the company doesn’t want people claiming that product "Z" cures cancer, because the FTC can hold the company liable. At that time, my eight year pipes up from the back seat, "Dad, product "Z" doesn’t cure Cancer". I turned around and looked at her inquisitively and she continued, "It might help, but it won’t cure cancer".

That’s when I realized that my 8 year old can figure out when someone is making a false claim, but the FTC doesn’t think you can.
