The following is from Bo Short’s former diamond blog. This post is from August of 2004. The former diamond blog is no longer published, but if you poke around the internet a little, you might be able to find it.

In case you missed Part I.

Here is Part II:

He then said, “Think a bout it. They say the Internet is not credible, yet so many of them have started their own blogs to attack you and others like you. For them to resort to this behavior is an obvious message that they do not know what to do.” He added, “What makes me laugh is their hypocrisy. They used to love you and say how great of a leader you were. Now they say you were never any of that. I guess we are supposed to pretend that it never happened.”

His sentiment regarding their new Internet presence is one in which I agree, as I witness the rise of the blogs and critical sites by people that have traditionally decried the Internet as a source of information. Quite frankly, it reminds me of any sports team that “gets out of their rhythm and away from the basics” when they know they are losing ground.

On another topic, I remember reading an interesting quote. Unfortunately, I do not remember the author but I find the words very illuminating.

“Desperate people resort to desperate measures.”

Sincerely,
Bo
